IPPT PAN is a leading research institution, making a significant contribution to numerous science and engineering areas. Since 2004, more than 100 international projects financed mainly within the FP5, FP6 and FP7 were implemented at the Institute. Wide experience in international cooperation has resulted in establishing the Polish National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU (NCP-PL). Over 50 highly qualified experts with a broad scientific background and keen knowledge of EU Programmes operate as an umbrella organization for all thematic NCPs and through a country-wide network (11 Regional Contact Points and 21 Thematic Contact Points at Polish Technology Platforms). NCP-PL has an experience in the organization of Info-days, training events, specialized consultations and workshops concerning project preparation, management and financing. Thus, NCP-PL substantially contributes to the development of research capacities and innovative enterprises in all regions of Poland.
