BioidvERsA, an ERA-NET cofound action under Horizon 2020, is promoting both science-society and science-policy interfacing throughout the whole research process, from inception onwards. While academic excellence is a major criterion for evaluating research to be supported in BiodivERsA, successful projects are expected to demonstrate that innovative approaches will be used (from co-design of programmes to promotion of research results) to increase the societal impact of the funded research.

For this call, scientific teams will be invited to form transnational research consortia with teams from minimum 3 countries participating in the call. Proposals have to be exclusively written in English. The research proposals will be evaluated across the criteria of scientific excellence, policy /societal relevance and stakeholder engagement.

Indicative schedule of the call:

• October 2017: official launch of the Call
• November 2017: Deadline to submit pre-registration
• December 2017: Deadline to submit full proposals
