NCP webinar on 'Circular Economy in SC2 and SC5'
We invite all SC2 and SC5 NCPs to participate in this webinar organised as part of the training activities for (Bio-)NCPs produced by BioHorizon.
Held by guest speaker Lana ´UTELIJA (Policy Officer at European Commission, Directorate-General for Environment, Unit B.1. – Sustainable Production, Products & Consumption), the webinar will focus on 'Circular Economy in SC2 and SC5'.
The activities under the Societal Challenges 2 (SC2) and 5 (SC5) Work Programmes for 2018-2020 will help implement important EU policies and initiatives such as the Circular Economy Package and the EU Circular Economy Action Plan. Within the calls a number of topics contribute to the Focus Area 'Connecting economic and environmental gains - the Circular Economy' (CE).
Ms. ´utelija will highlight the importance of Circular Economy in both work programmes and provide NCPs with relevant background information and helpful knowledge on the contents and the intended implementation of topics contributing to the CE Focus Area. Following the presentation by Ms. ´utelija there will be time for a Q&A session.
This online session is free of charge but registration is obligatory. Please note that only SC2/KET-Biotech and SC5 NCPs will be accepted.
The training starts on 5th December 2017 at 14.00 Brussels time and will take approx. 1 - 1,5 hours.
