Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Actions

NET4MOBILITY+ is the project of Horizon 2020 National Contact Points (NCP) for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). The overall objective is to facilitate transnational cooperation among NCPs for MSCA, upgrade their systemic knowledge and tools in order to raise their standard of support, identifying and sharing good practices across MSCA in close collaboration with other EU networks.

Nanotechnologies, advanced materials, advanced manufacturing and processing, biotechnology

NMP TeAm is the NMP NCP Network and the main source of practical information and individual assistance in participation in the Industrial Leadership KET Part (Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing) of the HORIZON 2020 Framework Programme. The network consists of National Contact Points (NCPs) from all 28 EU member states and H2020 associated states as well as NMP third country contacts.

SPACE

COSMOS2020plus is the network of National Contact Points for Space. Its main target is to allow NCPs to benefit from each other’s experience and thus raise the overall quality of their services. Additional information services are established like a joint website and a news service, providing information about Space and EU Framework Programme related topics. Furthermore, international information days in support of the European Commission are organised, with emphasis on bringing potential project partners together. Last but not least a country-independent helpdesk for EU framework Space research related questions is established.

Innovation in SMEs, Access to Risk Finance

ACCESS4SMES (Access to Risk Finance and SMEs NCP cooperation network) is a 30 months project started in September 2016 aiming to empower the network of National Contact Points (NCP) for Small medium-sized enterprises - SMEs and Access to risk finance (SMEs, ARF) under Horizon2020, by promoting a systemic service and providing knowledge for SMEs, industry and ARF communities.

Societal Challenge 1: Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing

Health NCP Net 2.0 (HNN 2.0) is the European project funded by the European Commission under the Horizon2020 programme aiming at aligning and enhancing the services that NCPs for the Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing Societal Challenge (SC1) provide to applicants of European funding for Health research across Europe and worldwide. The overall goal is to increase the quality of the proposals submitted to Health research calls in Horizon 2020 and ultimately resulting in a more efficient expenditure of the European funding for Health research. HNN 2.0 will run for four years (Jan. 2015 – Nov. 2019).

Societal Challenge 3: Secure, clean and efficient energy

C-ENERGY 2020 is a 48 month project built up on the experience of the previous C-Energy and C-Energy+ projects. The specific objectives focus on ensuring high quality Energy NCP services for Horizon 2020 and related programmes applicants as well as lowering entry barriers for Energy NCPs approaching EU Framework Programmes for R&I for the first time. The Project started on December 2014 and will be lasting until the 30th November 2018.

Societal Challenge 4: Smart, Green and Integrated Transport

ETNA Plus is the European network of Transport NCPs. The goal is to foster innovation in trans-national cooperation in Transport with a focus on promoting the active participation of new actors and regions in EU research calls and projects. Transport NCPs are key players in this mechanism, but their role will be complemented and enhanced by the contribution of other relevant stakeholders, giving real added value both in terms of knowledge and expertise. Etna Plus is funded under the 7th Framework Programme.

Societal Challenge 5: Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials

NCP CaRe is the Network of NCPs for SC5 dedicated to contribute on the Horizon 2020 major goal to exploit the potential of Europe's talent pool and ensure that the benefits of an innovation-led economy and society are maximised. The NCPs CaRE consortium together with the associated partners will aim at pooling their resources and know-how to raise the quality of services provided to their clients, preparing carefully designed and selected activities for improving the NCPs’ routines and cooperating with important stakeholders.

Societal Challenge 6: Europe in a changing world: inclusive, innovative and reflective societies

Net4Society is the international network of National Contact Points for the Societal Challenge 6 ("Europe in a changing world: inclusive, innovative and reflective societies") in Horizon 2020. a programme part of Horizon 2020 that is to a large extent driven by SSH research aspects. We actively support networking in the SSH research community and offer help in every respect of Horizon 2020 consultation. Net4Society includes the European and International National Contact Points of almost 50 countries.

Societal Challenge 7: Secure societies - protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens

SEREN3 is a 36-month project with the overall aim of facilitating trans-national co-operation among NCPs for Secure Societies, identifying and sharing good practices, and raising the general standard of the support to programme applicants across the EU, Associated and Third countries. SEREN3 is the continuation and evolution of the precedent network, SEREN2, whose results and lessons learnt have been taken into consideration with the logic of improving the future network and in order to valorize the network’s strengths. SEREN3 activities focus on a stronger attention of the network in terms of multidisciplinary competences, consideration of related societal challenges, and linkage with other EU relevant initiatives, funding programmes and policies.

Spreading excellence and widening participation

NCP WIDE.NET project is targeted towards WIDESPREAD NCPs in EU Members States and Associated countries002E. The project will contribute to more balanced development of ERA, spreading excellence in research in all European regions and widening participation of research centers and stakeholders from weaker regions in H2020.

SiS Net is the international network of NCPs for Science with and for Society in Horizon 2020 focused on two main objectives a) increase dialogue and collaboration between Science with and for Society stakeholders, for example: CSO's, cities, research funding agencies, science centers, science museums, media organizations and education establishments and b) Enhance the visibility of the Science with and for Society programme.
