During the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 Italian National Infoday, which took place in Rome on the 31 October 2017, an elevator pitch session was organised. The aim of this session was to boost the participation in the new calls for proposals published under the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 Work Programme for 2018-2020 and to facilitate the creation of new consortia. APRE asked various enterprises, researchers and non-governmental organisations to apply for an elevator pitch in order to present their expertise and project ideas, identifying also potential topics for which they would like to apply. Speakers were then selected by APRE according to the relevance to the upcoming calls for proposals published under the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2 Work Programme for 2018-2020.
