Call for applications for the 2016 Sabri Ülker International Science Award is now open

The Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation was established in 2009 as an independent, scientific, non-profit organization with the objective of enhancing nutrition science and knowledge, with a special focus on the Turkish population and regional neighbours.

Key focus areas include:
• Presenting the public with useful information relating to food, nutrition and health, derived from a variety of reliable sources, both nationally and internationally,
• Encouraging optimum health by considering food and diet, nutrition and lifestyle and
• Supporting and encouraging new research, education and other initiatives in the field of food and nutrition.

In order to encourage new scientific research of the highest quality in the area of food, nutrition and health in 2014 Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation initiated a Science Award.


The call for applications for the 2016 Sabri Ülker International Science Award with a focus on "Public health an Nutrition: emphasis on public health benefits" is now open.
