BBI JU has launched 2016 call for proposals

21.04.2016

The Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) is a Public-Private Partnership between the EU and the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), aiming at increasing investment in the development of a sustainable bio-based industry sector in Europe and thus fostering the European bioeconomy. The BBI JU brings together researchers and stakeholders from companies, research institutes or universities and from various disciplines or different sectors.

Currently the BBI JU has launched its third call for proposals. In 2016, BBI JU will provide up to €189 million of new funding for the European bio-based industries, researchers and entrepreneurs across a broad range of 27 new topics, including two new flagship topics.

The submission deadline is 8 September 2016.
All relevant information, including the full list of topics under this call can be found on the Participant Portal and in the 2016 Annual Work Plan.

Further information is available at the BBI JU website.
