The European Association of Remote Sensing Companies (EARSC) is the European organization which – on a non-profit basis – promotes the use of Earth Observation (EO) technology and especially the companies in Europe which offer EO-related products and services.

This workshop aims at elaborating on the role of technological innovation in agriculture – with a particular focus on satellite and remote sensing applications – in light of the post 2020 Common Agricultural Policy, recently proposed by the Commission. It will match the points of view of the policy makers, the remote sensing industry and the end-users in order to deliver a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and challenges that the digital transformation poses to the agricultural sector.
